Topics

What data do we collect?

my3daudio collects the following data:

  • the email address you enter in the contact form;
  • the content of the message you write, including anything you choose to put in it;
  • technical data generated by your visit: IP address, browser type and version, the address requested, the referring page, and the time of the request;
  • the result of the anti-spam challenge that protects the form;
  • if you consent to analytics cookies: the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit, the page that referred you, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from a truncated IP address.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide my3daudio with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • send us a message through the contact form;
  • continue an email conversation that began with such a message;
  • view this website, which generates technical data in our provider's logs;
  • accept analytics cookies in the consent banner, which starts Google Analytics.

How will we use your data?

my3daudio collects your data so that we can read your enquiry, decide whether we are the right people for it, and reply to you. Where an enquiry turns into an engagement, the same contact data is used to run that engagement and to meet our accounting obligations.

PurposeLegal basis
Reading and answering your enquiry Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in replying to a message addressed to us
Keeping the site and the mailbox available and free of automated abuse Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the security of our own systems
Measuring how the website is used, so that we can improve it Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, given in the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time
Performing an engagement that follows from your enquiry Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before and under a contract
Invoicing and accounting records Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with Polish tax and accounting law

How do we store your data?

Messages sent through the form are delivered to our Microsoft 365 mailbox and stored there, so Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited processes them on our behalf. The website itself is served from Cloudflare's network, and Cloudflare processes the technical data described above on our behalf. Where you have consented to analytics, Google Ireland Limited processes the usage data described above on our behalf through Google Analytics 4. Access to the mailbox and to the analytics property is limited to the people at my3daudio who need it, and is protected by individual accounts and multi-factor authentication.

my3daudio keeps enquiry correspondence for 24 months from the last exchange, after which it is deleted. Technical and security logs are held by our provider for up to 30 days. Analytics events are held in our Google Analytics property for the retention period configured there, and the analytics cookies on your device last up to two years. Where an enquiry becomes a paid engagement, contract and billing records are kept for five years from the end of the tax year, as Polish law requires.

Please treat the form as ordinary email: share confidential material, documents under a non-disclosure agreement, or anything covered by a protective order only after we have agreed terms in writing.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit my3daudio.com, which pages they read, and how they arrived. It runs on the same measurement property that has served this domain for years, so the figures stay comparable over time.

Analytics runs only after you accept analytics cookies in the banner. Until then the Google Analytics scripts sit inert in the page and set nothing on your device. We have IP anonymisation switched on, so Google truncates your IP address before it is used, and the reports we see are aggregate: visit counts, pages, referrers, and rough geography at city level.

You can change your mind whenever you like, through cookie settings. Withdrawing consent stops the collection and clears the analytics cookies already stored in your browser.

Marketing

We use your email address for one thing: answering the message you sent us.

What are your data protection rights?

my3daudio would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access — you have the right to request copies of your personal data.

The right to rectification — you have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate, and to have incomplete information completed.

The right to erasure — you have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing — you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing — you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing we carry out on the basis of our legitimate interest.

The right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on your consent, as analytics is, you have the right to withdraw it at any time and as easily as you gave it, through cookie settings. Withdrawal leaves the lawfulness of earlier processing intact.

The right to data portability — you have the right to request that we transfer the data you gave us to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. Where a request is complex we may extend that period by up to two further months, and we will tell you why. To exercise any of these rights, write to us through the contact form or by post to the address at the top of this page.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of our providers are established in the United States or use infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. This applies to Cloudflare, which serves the site, to Microsoft, which hosts our mailbox, and to Google, whose Irish entity is our contracting party for Google Analytics while data may be processed by Google LLC in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with additional technical measures, or on the provider's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Write to us if you would like details of the safeguards that apply to a particular provider.

What are cookies?

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. When you visit a website, it may collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar technology. For further information, visit allaboutcookies.org.

How do we use cookies?

my3daudio uses cookies in two ways:

  • telling human visitors apart from automated traffic, so that the site and the contact form stay available;
  • measuring how the site is used, once you have accepted analytics cookies.

What types of cookies do we use?

There are a number of different types of cookies; this website uses two of them.

  • Strictly necessary — Cloudflare's security cookies, typically named __cf_bm and cf_clearance, which identify automated traffic and keep the anti-spam challenge working. Under Art. 173(3) of the Polish Telecommunications Law they are exempt from the consent requirement, so they are always active. A further cookie, my3daudio_cookie_consent, records the choice you made in the banner and lasts 182 days.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 cookies, set only after you accept them.

How to manage your cookies

Analytics cookies are yours to control: open cookie settings at any time to grant or withdraw consent. Withdrawing it clears the analytics cookies already stored in your browser.

You can also set your browser to refuse cookies, and the website above tells you how to remove cookies from your browser. In a few cases the contact form may then stop working, because its anti-spam check depends on them.

Privacy policies of other websites

The contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, the anti-spam challenge, directly from Cloudflare, so Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that request. Once you accept analytics cookies, the site loads Google Analytics from Google's servers, and Google's privacy policy applies to that request. This policy applies only to my3daudio.com; if you follow a link elsewhere, read the privacy policy of the site you land on.

Changes to our privacy policy

my3daudio keeps its privacy policy under regular review and places any updates on this web page. This privacy policy was last updated on 7 September 2026.
